Received the 2004 Guilfoy Memorial Architectural Sheet Metal Award from California-SMACNA. The Guilfoy award is presented annually to the California SMACNA firm whose work best epitomizes high-quality craftsmanship in architectural sheet metal.

This project required the removal and replacement of all historical dormer bodies, crows nest, and ornaments. All work occurred above the 21st floor, off of a specially designed scaffold. The project took approximately 1000 shop hours and 9000 field hours. We used:

  • 10,000 lbs. of copper

  • 18,000 lbs. of aluminum castings

  • 1,500 lbs. of stainless steel

  • 5,200 lbs. of lead
